Like moderate sunburn for about twenty-four to forty-eight hours, pink, warm and tight. Most people are presentable by day two and back to normal by day three. It is a treatment to book at the start of a quiet week, not before an event.

Four to six, spaced four to six weeks apart, and the result keeps building for months after the last one. Scarring is the slowest thing we treat and the one where people most often stop too early. If you are going to commit to this, commit to the full course.

We numb beforehand and most people describe it as a strong vibration rather than pain. The bonier areas (forehead, hairline, along the jaw) are the ones people notice. It takes about twenty minutes of actual needling.

Not over active inflamed breakouts, because needling through them can spread bacteria and worsen the picture. We treat the acne first and the scarring afterwards, in that order, which is why some people start on a structured acne protocol before this is even scheduled.
