Eight fragrances: five numbered candles, the one named for a verse, and two you wear. Poured for the studio, and sold through our own storefront rather than someone else's shelf.

The verse the one non-numbered candle is named for, and the reason it sits apart from the rest of the line.
Boldly Her is leather-forward, drawn from the smell of a well-used leather Bible and the quiet character of a western tack room — Elizabeth’s own, and the only fragrance here with a story attached rather than a note list.
At $42 it is also the one people buy for someone else, which is why it leaves the studio boxed more often than not.

Gift cards cover these as readily as treatment, if you are buying for someone whose taste you would rather not guess at.

Arkyn is the skincare half.
Illumatox now carries two of its own lines, both on the same storefront. Signature Scents is the fragrance; Arkyn Skin Care is what goes on your face.
Both exist for the same reason. A studio that only ever sells other people’s products has an opinion about what works and no way to act on it.

What are the Signature Scents?

Which one is the scent of the studio itself?
No. 1, The Signature. It is the fragrance clients smell when they walk through the door and the one people ask about at the front desk often enough that it was worth putting in a jar. Notes of lemon and cardamom over cedar, iris and cinnamon, finishing on sandalwood, vetiver and musk.
What is the difference between the No. 1 candle and No. 1 Perfume?
They share the same accord — the studio scent — in two formats. The candle is $44 and fills a room; the perfume is $115 and is made to be worn, with the same opening and a softer landing. People who like the candle tend to end up with both, and there is no need to start with the expensive one.
Are any of these skincare?
No. These are home fragrance and two products worn on skin as fragrance, not formulated to treat it. If you are looking for something that does a job on your face, Arkyn Skin Care is the studio's own line and it is the right place instead of this one.
Can I smell them before buying?
Yes, at the front desk on Main Street, and it is worth doing. A note list tells you the ingredients and nothing about how a fragrance actually reads in a room — the difference between No. 2 and No. 3 is obvious with the lids off and invisible on a page.
Do they make good gifts?
They are the most common thing bought here as a gift. Boldly Her at $42 leaves the studio boxed more often than not, and unlike a treatment voucher a candle carries no suggestion that the recipient ought to change something about themselves. A gift card does the same job if you would rather leave the choice open.
