Cellulite Treatment in Neenah, WI

It is structural, which is why nothing you rub on it works.

Between eighty and ninety percent of women have cellulite, including athletes and including people with very little body fat. It is a connective tissue architecture, not a fat problem — and that single fact explains why almost everything sold for it fails.

What is actually happening

Fibrous bands pulling down while fat pushes up.

Under the skin, vertical connective tissue bands anchor the dermis to the muscle beneath. Fat sits in the chambers between them. When those chambers fill and the bands stay fixed, the fat bulges upward and the tethered points stay put — and the dimpled surface is the result.

In women those bands run vertically, which produces this pattern. In men they run in a criss-cross lattice, which distributes the tension and is the reason cellulite is overwhelmingly a female presentation regardless of body composition.

Skin thickness matters as much as fat. Thinner dermis shows the underlying structure more clearly, so cellulite typically becomes more visible with age as collagen declines — on exactly the same body.

This is why weight loss often disappoints here. Losing fat empties the chambers somewhat but leaves the bands and the thinning skin untouched, and some people find the dimpling more visible afterwards rather than less.

What we can do about it

Two options, honestly described.

Cellulite is the concern where overclaiming is most common in this industry. What follows is what these treatments actually do, which is improvement rather than elimination.

  1. 01
RF Skin Tightening & Cellulite Reduction

The most direct treatment we have

Radiofrequency heats the dermis to stimulate collagen, thickening the skin so the underlying structure shows through less. A course of sessions, results over three months. It improves the appearance; it does not release the bands.

  2. 02
    Tribody Treatment

For dimpling alongside fat and poor tone

Combines fat reduction, muscle stimulation and RF tightening on the same area. More complete when the dimpling comes with a fat layer and soft tone underneath. Still improvement rather than removal.

What we would recommend

What we can honestly promise.

A course of radiofrequency treatment produces smoother-looking, firmer skin with less visible dimpling, and it holds with occasional maintenance. That is a real result and most people are pleased with it.

What it does not do is eliminate cellulite. No topical cream, no massage device and no energy-based treatment available anywhere removes the fibrous bands producing it. Anything advertising elimination is either describing a surgical band-release procedure or overselling.

For thin skin with visible dimpling and no significant fat layer, RF alone is the right choice. Where there is a genuine fat layer and soft muscle tone as well, Tribody addresses all three at once and gives a better overall change.

Thicker skin shows the structure beneath it less.

What to expect

Sessions, expectations and maintenance.

Course length
A course of sessions across the treated area, typically weekly or fortnightly. The number depends on the area's size and how much dimpling is present.
When you see it
Skin feels firmer within a few weeks; the visible change in dimpling arrives around three months as new collagen matures. Judging it at week four is judging it early.
Maintenance
Two or three sessions a year to hold the result. Collagen continues to decline with age, so cellulite treatment is maintained rather than completed.
Cost
Priced per body area with member pricing. Because a course is the standard plan, we quote the full course at consultation rather than per session.

RF Skin Tightening / Cellulite Reduction is $350 per body area, or $325 per body area for members at our Neenah studio. It is the treatment most plans for this concern are built around, and every other figure on this page’s options is published too.

Common questions

What people ask about cellulite.

Does losing weight get rid of cellulite?

Not reliably, and this surprises people. Cellulite is fibrous bands tethering skin to deeper tissue, and it appears across every body size — thin people have it too. Losing weight can reduce how pronounced it looks, and it can also make it more visible if skin loses firmness in the process. It is a structural issue rather than a weight one.

Can cellulite be permanently removed?

Not by any non-surgical treatment. The fibrous bands producing the dimpling remain in place, so what treatment achieves is a genuine improvement in appearance that is maintained rather than a cure. The only approaches that address the bands directly are minor surgical procedures we do not offer.

Will losing weight get rid of cellulite?

Not reliably, and occasionally it looks worse afterwards. Weight loss empties the fat chambers but leaves the connective bands and the skin thickness unchanged, so the tethering is still there with less volume around it. Very lean and very athletic women commonly have cellulite for exactly this reason.

Do cellulite creams work?

Caffeine-based creams produce a temporary tightening effect through mild dehydration of the surface, lasting a few hours. Nothing applied topically reaches the connective tissue architecture several millimetres down, which is where the problem is. It is not that they are fraudulent — it is that they are working on the wrong layer.

How many treatments will I need?

A course rather than a single session, spaced weekly or fortnightly, with the number set by the size of the area. The collagen response continues for around three months after the final session, so the total timeline from starting to final result is longer than the appointment schedule suggests.

Does radiofrequency treatment hurt?

No. Most people describe it as a deep warmth, similar to a hot stone massage, and it is one of the more pleasant treatments we offer. There is no downtime, no marking and nothing that stops you exercising the same day.

Realistic, and still worth doing.

Cellulite improves with the right treatment and does not disappear with any of them. We would rather you hear that here than after paying for a course.
