Elizabeth Coenen

A Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Elizabeth launched Illumatox in 2022 as a one-woman show with a vision to empower others through natural, confidence-boosting aesthetic medicine. Today, she’s proud to lead a team of five like-minded women who share her belief that true beauty goes far deeper than the surface. Her mission is rooted in enhancing what’s already there—not changing, but elevating—and creating a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Elizabeth brings over 15 years of healthcare experience to her aesthetic practice. She spent a decade as a Registered Nurse with a focus in pediatrics, followed by five years as an FNP working in both primary and urgent care. Now fully devoted to aesthetic medicine, she combines clinical expertise with artistry to deliver personalized, natural-looking results.
Some of her favorite in-office treatments include Lip Filler, Aerolase laser treatments, and Neuromodulators (also known as ‘Tox)—procedures she finds especially rewarding for the confidence they bring to her clients.

Outside of the studio, Elizabeth lives out her values as a middle school Christian youth group leader, finding deep purpose in mentorship and faith. She loves spending time with her husband, Justin, and their 12-year-old daughter, Lucy.
A few fun facts? Elizabeth loves animals , never says no to a Diet Coke, loves Jesus deeply, and has Morgan Wallen on repeat. Lately, she’s been embracing her Cowgirl Era—you might see her in boots at the studio, living out her own low-key version of Yellowstone.
