Botox & Tox Cost in Neenah, WI
Botox & tox cost in Neenah, WI
Tox is sold per unit, and the unit price is the least useful number on the menu. What you pay depends on how many units your face needs, and that is the figure worth asking for.

Written 2026
This page replaces one lost when the site moved in September 2026. It is a new page rather than a reconstruction, and every price on it is read from our current price list.
Search for what Botox costs around the Fox Valley and you mostly find per-unit figures with no sense of what they add up to, or per-area prices with no sense of what is inside them. Both are real ways of pricing tox. Neither tells you what you will actually pay until you know one more number: the dose.
What a unit is
A unit is a measure of dose, not of volume, and every brand defines its own. That is why a clinic quoting Botox at $14 a unit and another quoting Dysport at $13 are not quoting comparable things. A Dysport unit is not a Botox unit, and a Jeuveau unit is not either of them. Per-unit prices only compare within one brand. Across brands, the number that compares is the total for the area being treated.
Per unit or per area
Some clinics price by area: a set fee for the forehead, another for the frown lines, another for crow's feet. It looks simpler, and for someone who needs exactly the average dose it can be. The catch is that every area fee has a unit count built into it that you cannot see. A strong frown and a light one pay the same, so one of them is overpaying and the other may be getting less than it needs.
Per-unit pricing puts the dose in front of you. At Illumatox every first treatment starts with a movement assessment, and you are told the unit count and the total before anything is injected. That is the model worth asking for anywhere, because it is the only one where you can see what you are paying for.
How many units, roughly
Most first treatments across the upper face land between 20 and 50 units, and muscle strength decides where you sit in that range, not age. A strong frown between the brows can take 20 units on its own. A light forehead treatment might be 8. At our Botox price of $14 a unit, that puts an upper-face treatment between $280 and $700, or $270 to $675 at member pricing.
Those are Botox units. The same face treated with Dysport or Jeuveau uses a different number of units at a different unit price, which is exactly why a per-unit comparison between brands tells you nothing on its own.
What changes the total
Three things move it more than anything else. How many areas are treated. How strongly those muscles move: someone who lifts their brows constantly needs a different number in the forehead from someone who barely does. And history: many people find the interval between treatments stretches over the first year as the treated muscles get less strong, which means fewer units rather than more. That is the one direction tox prices go that nobody advertises.
What a very low price usually means
Tox is a product clinics buy, and the brands cost different amounts to buy, which is most of why their unit prices differ. A price far below the local range is coming from somewhere. Usually it is fewer units than the face needs, an area price with a thin dose inside it, or an introductory rate that does not hold for the second visit. Occasionally it is product sourced outside the manufacturer's supply chain, and counterfeit and grey-market neurotoxin is a real problem in this industry. Asking to see the vial before it is drawn is a reasonable request anywhere, including here.
Four questions worth asking before you book
How many units are you planning, and what is the total? Which product is it? Who is injecting, and what are they licensed to do? Is there a review at two weeks, when the result has settled and an under-responding area can be adjusted? A clinic that answers all four without hesitating is pricing honestly. One that will only give you a figure once you are in the chair is telling you something too.
Our own figures are in the table below and on the pricing page. The companion page on tox cost at Illumatox runs them against a full year of maintenance, with and without membership.

Common questions
What people ask about this.
How much does Botox cost in Neenah?
At Illumatox, Botox is $14 a unit, or $13.50 for members. Most first upper-face treatments use 20 to 50 units, which is $280 to $700 before member pricing. The exact count comes from a movement assessment, and you have it, with the total, before anything is injected.
Is tox priced per unit or per area?
Both models exist. We price per unit, because an area price hides the dose inside it and charges a strong muscle and a light one the same. If a clinic prices by area, ask how many units the price includes. That is the number that tells you what you are buying.
Why is Dysport cheaper per unit than Botox?
Partly because the products cost different amounts to buy, and partly because the units are different measurements. Dysport is $13 a unit here and Botox $14, but a Dysport unit is not a Botox unit, so a lower unit price does not mean a cheaper treatment. Compare the total for the area.
How many units of tox will I need?
It depends on the area and how strongly the muscle moves. Across the upper face most first treatments land between 20 and 50 Botox units. A strong frown can take 20 on its own and a light forehead might be 8. We assess how your face actually moves before quoting.
Does tox get cheaper over time?
Often, yes. Many people find the interval between treatments stretches over the first year as the treated muscles get less strong, and they need fewer units rather than more. Treating when movement starts to return, rather than after it has fully come back, is what keeps the result buildable.
Do I need a consultation before tox?
The movement assessment at the start of a tox appointment covers the dosing. If you would rather talk it through before committing to anything, a consultation is $50 and credited to your account toward future treatment.
