Unwanted Facial & Body Hair in Neenah, WI
Fourteen areas, and one honest word about the word permanent.
Laser hair removal produces permanent reduction, which is the FDA's language and the accurate one. Most people finish a course with something like eighty to ninety percent less hair, and what remains is finer and lighter. The word that does not apply is total.

What is actually happening
Why it takes six sessions and not one.
The laser targets pigment in the hair follicle and converts light to heat, damaging the structure that produces the hair. It only works when the follicle is in its active growth phase — anagen — because that is the only time the hair is connected to the structure being destroyed.
At any given moment only a fraction of your follicles are in anagen. The rest are resting or shedding and are effectively invisible to the laser. That fraction is why a single session cannot possibly clear an area, however good the device.
Sessions are spaced four to six weeks apart to catch successive waves of follicles as they cycle into growth. Six to eight sessions covers most of the cycle for most areas, and the face usually needs more than the body because facial hair cycles faster.
Colour contrast matters. The laser finds pigment, so dark hair on lighter skin is the easiest case. Grey, white and very fine blonde hair has little to no pigment to target, and no laser treats it effectively — we would rather tell you at consultation than take payment for a course.
What we can do about it
One treatment, fourteen areas.
Every area is priced individually so you can treat exactly what you want to treat. The full list and per-area pricing sit on the treatment page.
- 01Laser Hair Removal
All fourteen areas, priced individually
Underarms, bikini, Brazilian, chin and upper lip, full face, neck, lower and full legs, upper and full back, upper and full chest, forearms and full arms. Six to eight sessions per area. Grey and very fair hair does not respond.
- 02Package Pricing
Because a course is how this is actually bought
Hair removal is one of the few treatments where nobody buys a single session, so the courses are priced as courses. Better value than paying visit by visit, and the plan is set before you start.
What we would recommend
How to plan a course properly.
Start in autumn. Treated skin must stay out of the sun, and you cannot be laser-treated on a fresh tan — so beginning in September means you finish a course through the winter and arrive at summer having already done the work.
Stop waxing, threading and plucking six weeks before you start and for the whole course. All three remove the follicle the laser needs to find. Shaving is fine and is in fact required the day before each session.
Underarms and the bikini line are the areas people are most consistently pleased with — dense, dark hair on a small area, which is the ideal case. Faces need more sessions and more maintenance because hormonally driven hair keeps recruiting new follicles.

What to expect
Sessions, spacing and what maintenance looks like.
- Session count
- Six to eight sessions per area for most people, spaced four to six weeks apart. Facial areas often need eight to ten because the growth cycle is shorter and hormones keep activating new follicles.
- Between sessions
- Shave as normal — that is encouraged. Do not wax, thread or pluck at any point during the course, because removing the follicle removes the target.
- Maintenance
- Most people book a top-up once or twice a year after finishing. Hormonal changes, including pregnancy and menopause, can activate new follicles that were never treated.
- Cost
- Priced per area, with member pricing on every one and a full-body plan quoted at consultation. All fourteen area prices are published rather than quoted on request.
Laser Hair Removal is $250, or $200 for members at our Neenah studio. It is the treatment most plans for this concern are built around, and every other figure on this page’s options is published too.
Common questions
What people ask about unwanted hair.
Is laser cheaper than waxing in the long run?
Usually yes, and the arithmetic is worth doing rather than taking on trust. Waxing is a smaller amount indefinitely; laser is a larger amount that ends. For a small area you wax every few weeks, the crossover typically arrives within two to three years. For fair or grey hair, laser does not work well and waxing stays the better option — which is not the answer we profit from.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?
Six to eight per area for most people, four to six weeks apart. The number is set by the hair growth cycle rather than by the device — only follicles in the active growth phase can be treated, so multiple passes are needed to catch them all. Facial areas usually need more than body areas.
Is laser hair removal permanent?
It is permanent reduction rather than permanent removal, which is the FDA's own distinction. Expect around eighty to ninety percent less hair after a full course, with what remains finer and lighter. Hormonal changes can activate new follicles later, which is why an annual top-up is common.
Does it work on blonde, red or grey hair?
Poorly, and we will tell you before you book. The laser targets pigment in the hair, so grey and white hair has nothing to absorb the energy and very fair blonde or red hair has too little. Dark hair on lighter skin is the ideal case; we assess honestly rather than sell a course that cannot work.
Can I get laser hair removal in summer?
We would rather you did not start one then. Treated skin needs to stay out of direct sun, and a laser cannot safely treat recently tanned skin — the pigment in the tan competes for the energy and raises the risk of burns. Starting in autumn and finishing over winter is the sensible plan in Wisconsin.
How much does laser hair removal cost in Neenah?
Every one of the fourteen areas has its own published price, with member pricing on all of them, and courses are available through package pricing. Small areas like underarms cost considerably less than full legs or a full back. Nothing here is quote-on-request — the whole list is on the pricing page.

Start in September, be finished by May.
A course runs six to eight sessions across four to six weeks each. Work backwards from the summer you want and the start date picks itself.
