Background

About Kayla.

Kayla Lenzner is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with specialised certification in Obesity Medicine and an extensive background in health, wellness and preventative care. With a passion for blending internal wellness and external rejuvenation, she helps patients feel their best inside and out.

Her approach to aesthetics blends clinical excellence, artistic precision and compassionate care. She specialises in non-surgical facial rejuvenation, skin restoration, and evidence-based treatments that support long-term skin health and graceful ageing. Her areas of expertise include neuromodulators, collagen stimulation, laser and energy-based therapies, and medical-grade skincare.

With a background spanning primary care, wellness coaching and aesthetic medicine, Kayla is known for personalised treatment plans and a warm, attentive manner. She takes the time to educate rather than prescribe, which is precisely what a supervised weight-loss programme demands.

Away from the treatment room she hikes, golfs, travels, and spends her time with her three children.

Common questions

What people ask about Kayla.

What is an Obesity Medicine certification?

It is a specific credential in the clinical management of weight (physiology, pharmacology, comorbidities and the behavioural side) held on top of her nurse practitioner licence. It is the difference between a clinic that prescribes a GLP-1 and a clinician who manages weight as a medical condition, which is why our weight-loss programme runs with labs and review rather than as a repeat prescription.

Does Kayla only do weight loss?

No: she is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner across the aesthetic menu too, with particular focus on non-surgical facial rejuvenation, collagen stimulation and laser work. The weight-loss programme is the part of the practice that would not exist without her certification, which is why it is what she is known for.

Can I see Kayla for injectables rather than weight loss?

Yes, and plenty of people do. Request her when you book. She is the named provider on Sculptra and on lip filler among others, and her background in preventive health tends to show up as a slower, more explanatory first appointment.

Do I need a referral for the weight-loss programme?

No referral is needed. You do need labs, a proper intake and review appointments every eight weeks, because that is what makes it a medical programme rather than a prescription. It is also out of pocket only. We do not bill insurance, and we would rather you knew that before booking than at the end.

Will she prescribe a GLP-1 at the first appointment?

Not usually, and that is deliberate. The first appointment is intake and labs; prescribing follows once there is something to prescribe against. Anyone offering you a GLP-1 on day one without bloodwork is selling the easy half of a programme and skipping the part that keeps it safe.

What if the medication is not right for me?

Then she will say so, and that outcome is more common than people expect. Contraindications, personal and family history, and what you are actually trying to achieve all feed into it. Weight management without a GLP-1 is a real conversation here rather than a consolation prize.
