We publish it as a starting price because the total depends on how much product the plan needs, and that is decided at consultation rather than read off a menu.

Why one syringe is rarely the whole answer

A syringe is a smaller volume than it sounds, roughly a fifth of a teaspoon, and across a cheekbone or along a jawline it is spread over a broad area. That is why structural work usually takes more than one syringe. We would rather build it across appointments than place it all at once, because staging keeps the change gradual and lets us assess between sessions.

That is also why there is no fixed price for cheek filler or jaw filler here. The consultation gives you a plan and a total before anything starts, and it is yours to approve.

Treating the cause is often cheaper

Volume loss in one area usually shows up as a line somewhere else. As the mid-face flattens with age, the visible consequence is often a fold beside the mouth, a shadow under the eye or a jawline that has lost its edge. Filling the fold directly is the intuitive move and usually the wrong one. Supporting the cheek that stopped holding it up frequently improves both at once, with less product, which is why we assess the whole face before placing anything.

How long it lasts

Twelve to eighteen months for most structural areas, which is longer than lips because the product sits deeper and moves less. It fades gradually rather than disappearing, so most people top up before it has gone entirely. Spread over its lifespan, a $750 treatment is about $62.50 a month if it lasts twelve months, and about $41.67 a month at eighteen.

When filler is not the right spend

Where volume loss is widespread and gradual, Sculptra can be a better fit. It is not a filler in the usual sense: it prompts your own collagen to rebuild over two to three months rather than adding volume on the day. It is $850 a vial, or $825 for members, usually in a series of two or three spaced around six weeks apart, and it then holds for a couple of years.

And once skin laxity is the dominant issue, adding volume under loose skin does not tighten it. At that point we would be recommending resurfacing or energy-based treatment alongside filler, or instead of it, and we will say so rather than sell syringes that will not do the job.

Safety is part of what you pay for

Filler is a medical treatment, and the thing worth paying for is an injector who knows the anatomy and has a plan if something goes wrong. Bruising and asymmetry in the first fortnight are usually normal. A vascular complication after filler is a same-day emergency, and before you book anywhere it should be clear what happens and who you call. The filler we use is hyaluronic acid, which can be dissolved.
